Mark Filardi, Director of FI Strategies and Partner at Astra focuses on the preservation of capital with a lifetime stream of income, often using tax-free municipal bonds and estate planning practices. He enjoys working with clients, always offering honest advice and treating people with respect.

Before Astra, Mark began his financial career with Merrill Lynch in 1987. Twenty years later, he moved to Wachovia, which later became Wells Fargo Advisors. In 2019, he and his partners founded Astra Wealth Management to offer a client-focused financial firm independent of a major financial institution. Mark has an AAS Degree In Accounting from the State University of New York at Canton, a BS in Finance with a minor in Economics from the State University of New York at New Paltz.

When he’s not working, Mark is likely working out. He enjoys swimming, lifting weights, and riding his bike. He also rides motorcycles and enjoys buying old cars and fixing them up.
