Brandon Anderson helps clients navigate financial transitions with confidence. A former Division 1 athlete, he brings the same discipline and preparation to business and personal finance that he once brought to competition. Whether it’s a career change, a business exit, or planning for long-term financial security, Brandon builds personalized strategies around each client’s goals. His goal is simple: give families, sales professionals, business owners, and athletes a clear, secure financial plan.

Brandon is a second-generation financial planner. His father spent his career on the advanced planning team at Prudential, so Brandon grew up around the business rather than simply entering it. When he joined the business, he had the rare opportunity to learn directly under his father, absorbing not just textbook planning but complex, high-level planning from day one. That’s what made advanced planning the part of the job he loves most.

Before joining Astra, Brandon worked as a Financial Planner at Prudential Advisors, where he helped clients develop customized financial plans, investment strategies, and retirement solutions. By the time he went independent, he was managing just over $40 million on his own. Along the way, he earned recognition he’s proud of: Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) membership (2023-2025), Masters Council Gold three consecutive years and Platinum in 2025, Firm Senior of the Year, a panelist role in Prudential’s section of the National African American Financial Professionals conference, and a speaking engagement on Prudential’s national town hall on Financial Planning.

Brandon joined Astra so he could bring that same level of thinking to every client relationship. He is part of the team led by CEO Brad Vineyard, CFP®, CPWA®, which manages over $1 billion in assets and focuses primarily on High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients.

Before all of that, Brandon was a scholarship student-athlete at the University of Tennessee at Martin, starting safety on the football team. That experience taught him early on that preparation and trusting the process separate good outcomes from great ones, and it’s a mindset that has stuck with him ever since. He earned his Bachelor of Science from UT Martin and was later honored with the university’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award for his work in financial planning.

Outside of work, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife, their two children, and their dogs. He serves on the business board at the University of Tennessee at Martin and is active in several social groups. Above all, rooted deeply in his faith, what matters most to Brandon is the opportunity to serve.
