Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors

The Forbes ranking of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews and quantitative data. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years’ experience, and the algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Neither Forbes nor SHOOK receive a fee in exchange for rankings. Awards or rankings are not indicative of future success or results and should not be construed as an endorsement of the advisor.

Five Star Wealth Manager Award

Astra Wealth Management Group is awarded The FIVE STAR Wealth Manager Award in the Wealth Management Category, based on 10 objective criteria associated with providing quality services to clients such as credentials, experience, and assets under management among other factors. Dallas Business Journal’s Best Places to Work

The 2024 Dallas Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” award was announced on August 1st, 2024. For 22 years, DBJ’s Best Places to Work Awards program recognizes the top companies in our region that go above and beyond in creating an enjoyable workplace and a thriving culture for their employees. The rankings of the top workplaces in North Texas are based on employee engagement surveys. A company must have a minimum of 10 employees to qualify. Companies do not have to be headquartered locally, but only local employees may participate in the survey.

A $250 entry fee is paid to participate. The award is valid starting 8/01/2024.

Dallas Business Journal’s “The List”

The 2025 Dallas Business Journal’s “The List” award was announced on February 14th, 2025. The Dallas Business Journal has published a money management firms list ranked on total assets under management gathered from the most recent Form ADV filing with the SEC. Only offices with a primary address in the Metroplex’s four core counties of Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant were included. The award is valid starting 02/14/2025.
